Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation OTS Scheme and registration 2024-25

The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has announced a one-time settlement (OTS) scheme for electricity consumers for the period from December 15, 2024 to January 31, 2025. The scheme is aimed at providing relief to consumers and recovering dues. Here are some details about the UPPCL OTS scheme:
Registration
To avail the benefits, consumers must register and pay 30% of their outstanding dues as of September 30, 2024. 
Surcharge waiver
The amount of the surcharge waiver depends on the phase and the load of the consumer’s connection: 
Domestic consumers with up to 1 kW load: Receive a 100% surcharge waiver if they clear their dues in full during the first phase. 

Consumers with connection load above 1 kW: Receive a 90% surcharge waiver if they clear their dues in one go in the first phase. 
Payment options
Consumers can choose to pay the dues in full or opt for installment plans. 

No registration fee
Consumers can directly avail of the rebate/surcharge waiver without paying a registration fee.
